Amber Swales has set a new Beds Junior Short Course County Record (awaiting ratification) in the 100m Breaststroke by taking a whopping 3.5 seconds off her best in one go! Amber swam a time of 1.16.02 at the Biggleswade Club Championships to leave her 0.03 outside her national qualifying time.
Caleb Hughes also set two new Bedfordshire County Records in the 50m and 100m Backstroke long course at the Burns Open meet in Sheffield.

All coaching staff and committee members would like to congratulate Caleb Hughes on being selected for the Kelloggs Athlete Mentoring Scheme. Caleb will be mentored by a 2008 Olympic swimmer as part of this scheme throughout 2010!
